The Movement Project’s Monthly Newsletter

With March upon us, it’s time to embrace the changing seasons and ignite our motivation to take our fitness journey to new heights! As the days gradually lengthen and the promise of blue skies looms on the horizon, let’s harness this increasing daylight and renewed energy to propel ourselves toward our goals. Despite the rain, we’re keeping our sights set on those clear skies ahead.

Building Progress Update

We’re excited to announce that the building works have officially begun! We want to extend a huge thank you to all our members for your patience and understanding as we embark on this journey to enhance our facilities. The focus of this phase is on improving our toilet area and introducing brand new showers for your convenience and comfort. We’re committed to minimising disruptions during this time, and we can’t wait to unveil the upgraded space to you all soon.

Welcome Matt

Join us in giving a warm welcome to Matt, our newest addition to the instructor team! With eight years of experience as a spin class regular under his belt, Matt brings a wealth of passion and expertise to our cycling sessions. Having recently qualified as an instructor, he’s eager to share his love for indoor cycling with the Movement Project community. Get ready for high-energy workouts focused on building strength and endurance, accompanied by an electrifying playlist featuring chart hits, classic rock, and drum and bass. Catch Matt’s classes every Monday and Wednesday for Sunrise Spin at 9:15 AM, alternate Fridays at 6pm and don’t miss our new Sunday morning class at 10:00 AM.

Joining us in April

We’re thrilled to announce the newest addition to our coaching lineup, Kathryn White! Joining us from 2nd April, Kathryn is an experienced Olympic lifter and yoga teacher. Her background and passion for fitness make her a valuable asset to our community, and we can’t wait to welcome her aboard as our second S&C Coach. Get ready to be inspired and motivated by Kathryn’s expertise as we continue to elevate our training offerings at The Movement Project.

With classes in high demand, we kindly ask for as much notice as possible if you’re unable to make a session. Some of our classes have a waiting list so there will be members waiting for your place if you can´t make it, as much notice as you can possibly give would go a long way in ensuring everyone has the opportunity to participate. We have recently changed the cancellation timing from 12 to 6 hours and increased the waiting list allocation from 30 minutes to 1 hour, so hopefully both of these measures with your help will mean everyone gets to participate.
