The Movement Project’s Monthly Newsletter

Happy New Year

Greetings to our wonderful community! As we find ourselves already midway through January, it’s hard not to wonder where the time has gone already!!  We hope you had a great Christmas and the start of the New Year often brings a surge of energy and motivation, marked by resolutions to make positive changes in our lives. Speaking of resolutions, how are those New Year’s commitments holding up? Whether you’re still going strong or have encountered a few detours along the way, remember that the journey towards better health and well-being is a marathon, not a sprint. In this edition of our newsletter, we encourage you to embrace the spirit of practicality when setting fitness goals, emphasising the importance of consistency and incremental progress. Every step forward, no matter how small, brings you closer to your aspirations. So, let’s celebrate each accomplishment and continue to show up, putting in the effort to do just a little bit more or a little bit better each time. Here’s to a year filled with health, happiness, and the perseverance to make 2024 your best year yet!

So what do we have in store for The Movement Project in 2024

New Members & Classes

Welcome to all our new members for taking the plunge to get started with your fitness training in 2024.

For all of you, we are committed to providing exceptional classes to help improve your strength condition and mobility during 2024.

As you would expect in January there is often a surge of activity so when classes are filling up quickly, don’t worry we have our eye on it and will open new classes wherever possible to make sure everyone gets to train.

Building Work

We are continuing with creating a great environment in our gym space and we will be building more toilet facilities and showers and our Sunray cafe social section and hope to start work on these projects in February.

Facebook Group for Members

Do join our Facebook group where there are regular updates from the instructors https://www.facebook.com/groups/tmpmembersgroup

Class Cancellation Notice

In the spirit of fostering a smooth and inclusive experience for all our members, we kindly request that you cancel any class reservations on the Team Up app with at least 24 hours’ notice, if you find yourself unable to attend. This thoughtful gesture not only ensures that you retain your class credit but also opens up coveted spots for members eager to participate.

TMP Clothing

We have recently been sporting our instructors TMP T-shirts and a number of you have asked if you can have some TMP wear for yourselves.  We are not planning on keeping a stock of items but will order several times throughout the year.  We are planning on getting hoodies and T-shirts and when we have finalised the design we will let you know how you can pre-order yours.

Timetable

Our class booking system is open up to 14 days in advance.  If there are any changes to classes due to illness or unforeseen reasons, we will put a notice in The Movement Project Members group on Facebook.

Have a great rest of the month
