The Movement Project · Penryn, Cornwall
Two weeks of structured, coached, progressive training at TMP. Experience what makes this place different – and decide if it’s right for you. No contract, no pressure.
What makes TMP different?
Most gyms just have a timetable. TMP has a system. Every class – from Kinstretch to Strength & Conditioning, MetCon Sweat to Spinning – is part of a shared monthly training focus. Different sessions, one direction. So every time you show up, it counts toward something bigger.
With Stu and our expert coaches, we’ll guide you through:
Strength & coordination – layered on top
Each month, one shared focus. Restore builds the control. Build strengthens it. Perform challenges it. That’s how consistent progress actually happens – not by guessing your way through a random timetable on your own.
No contract, no pressure. Just great coaching, and a great community.
Kinstretch - you won't find this everywhere
TMP is one of the few locations in the UK to offer Kinstretch – a science-based mobility and joint control system that builds genuine range of motion, body control and injury resilience.
This isn't stretching. It's controlled articular rotations and end-range training - building strength and awareness through the full range of every joint. The kind of work that makes everything else feel better and keeps you training for longer.
Kinstretch sits within the Restore tier of TMP’s programming – so it feeds directly into your Build and Perform sessions. It’s not a bolt-on. It’s part of the system. And it’s all part of the 14 for £14 trial!
The TMP environment
No mirrors.
No TV screens.
No selfie corners.
No wondering what to do.
No guessing whether it’s actually working.
Just coaching, movement, and the people next to you. TMP is built for people who want to train with intention, with great people around them, for immediate and lasting mobility and performance results – not perform for an audience or fill time on a treadmill. If that sounds like you, you’ll feel right at home from your first session.
What's included in your 14 days
Your trial gives you everything a full member gets – no watered-down version, no beginner-only sessions. You train alongside the community, coached by the same team, as part of the same monthly focus.
Why £14?
We find that even a small upfront cost means people actually show up and get the most from their trial. Two weeks is enough to experience and feel the TMP difference. The £14 is about making sure you use it – not about the money.

Our Approach
Our classes are coached and scaled for different levels of experience and mobility and performance needs.
You don’t need to be fit to start – that’s what we help you with.
Led by Stu Slater, a former Royal Marine with over 17 years of experience in biomechanics, psychology, physiology, and nutrition, our program is based on understanding how the body should naturally move. After spending years as a Personal Trainer in London, Stu developed the unique concept for The Movement Project after recognising a gap between traditional gym training and real, sustainable fitness. His mission is simple:
to help you build a healthy, active lifestyle.
At TMP, we prioritise whole-body health, combining strength, mobility, and recovery techniques to ensure balanced, lasting results. Every session is built to support long-term fitness and physical and mental well-being, not just short-term gains.
14 days for £14 – Terms & Conditions
Love this gym! I’ve been going for a while now and find that the classes are fun and motivating. There’s a good mixture of cardio, strength and stretch on offer and all of the instructors are friendly and welcoming.

Stu at the Movement Project is a complete expert in his line of work and how the body moves and responds ! He explains all aspects of how the body works during my rehabilitation. He quickly found the root cause of my issue and worked with me and my core movement to regain strength. The gym itself is looking fantastic. I cant recommend The Movement Project enough!!
